Dying will be easy

I added one of the new tracks to Soundcloud that will be on the upcoming CD. We are in the process of getting all the artwork and layout done and hope to have it available by the end of Dec. As always you can download the track from here, and if you dig it do us the favor of passing it around.

Recording

We finally made it into the studio to record a second demo, with Evan at the controls at The Compound , we laid down six tracks and we are pretty stoked on them all.We made a full bandcation out of the whole ordeal,stayed at the world famous Brookdale Lodge hoping to catch a glimpse of Its ghosts,but only saw a mountain hooker and some tweekers,not quite ghosts but...soon, so close enough! We will have a second sitting to mix and then we shall unleash this into the world!!!

Slayer in Monterey!

Rumor is that back in the day Slayer played at what is now Joses,if you have never been there the place is tiny,but tons of fun for shows ....see you there on the 18th.

An evening of guitars

Playing at Metavinyl tonight with some fellows from around Santa Cruz,and Marisa Anderson. I thought I would post a home recording of one of the songs I'm playing in my set,Its a cover of an old country blues song,and one of the first songs I learned to play my own way when I started to learn finger picking,I like em rough and dirty so I think Its a fitting recording for the style,you can find it here:Shake em' on down

The Bad Light is me, Edu Cerro and Nate Gonzales,we have been jamming together for a couple of years now,but only recently feel like we have something to share.We recorded a few songs about a year ago and finally have gotten around to getting them mastered you can check them out on soundcloud here: http://soundcloud.com/the-bad-light .You should be able to download them also.

Im hoping that I can keep a music blog interesting with any random band stuff so we will see how it goes. Hope you dig it
